The all new EW-450 is super lightweight at only 39 lbs which includes the bike, battery and motor! The lithium ion battery pack is paired with a maintenance-free brushless electric hub motor (motor is the hub of the rear wheel). Made with all top of the line components, the EW-450 electric bicycle has a high-power 36 volt 10 amp-hr Lithium battery pack, a 6 Speed Shimano Tourney® Gears & Shifter System, 100% Aluminum Alloy frame, and a fully adjustable comfortable seat. Top speed is 20 mph with motor only; peddling in addition to using the electric power will increase speeds. The range on electric power is 25 miles per charge without pedaling, and can be increased significantly with moderate peddling. Features include a headlight, cargo rack, and a battery level indicator.

You can achieve up to 20 mph* and up to 25 miles per charge using the motor only! If you also pedal, you can travel much further than 25 miles and still have the continuous assistance of the electric motor! To sum up, there are three modes operation: (1) You can turn off the power and pedal this bike like any other bicycle; (2) You can turn on the power and receive a strong electric motor assist as you pedal (this is when you'll feel like superman or superwoman!); or (3) You can use the variable-speed twist-throttle the entire time - no pedaling required!
